“𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴!”

We are looking for participants for the upcoming 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 of Gensan Medical Center in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross.


This will be held at 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, at exactly 𝟴:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟮 𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱?

These are the following criteria that one should meet according to University of California San Francisco (2023) and The World Health Organization:

• You must be at least 18 years old to donate to the general blood supply.
• You weigh at least 50 kg.
• Blood pressure is below 180 systolic (first number) and below 100 diastolic (second number) at the time of donation.
• You must not donate if you have had a tongue, nose, belly button or genital piercing in the past 12 months. Donors with pierced ears are eligible.
• You cannot donate if you have a cold, flu, sore throat, cold sore, stomach bug or any other infection.
• As much as possible, no new tattoos or piercing in the last 12 months.
• If you have visited the dentist for a minor procedure you must wait 24 hours before donating; for major work wait a month.
